Mini Color Meditations, Pt. I
I don't know about you, but sometimes I just need something small to work on. A palate cleanser between big projects. Something beautiful, and maybe just a little impractical that is an absolute luxury to stitch. These are some of my favorite projects — a mini mindful moment in the otherwise chaotic day.
This “Mini Color Meditations” series was inspired by turn-of-the-century color theory, but reimagined as something simple and meditative to stitch. Each of the plates represents glimpses of beautiful objects, deconstructed and reassembled to draw attention to the color palette.
The objects featured in this series:
- Antique Rug
- Chinese Porcelain Vase
- Black Hawthorn Vase
- Arabian Illumination
- Japanese Silk Brocade
- Panel at the Taj Mahal
If you buy the digital download, you will get a PDF of the 6 different charts and recommended threads. Please note that this does not come with canvas, threads, or materials to stitch.
A second kit drop will be coming in July, for a total of 12 Mini Color Meditations in this 2024 series.
