The Something Blue Wedding Sampler is a custom needlepoint wedding sampler designed around a classic wedding chapel and wreathed by blue flowers. There are two spaces for personalization, at the top and bottom of the piece.
I designed this as a modern take on a traditional 18th-century sampler, drawn in a heirloom blue-and-white palette. Once stitched, the needlepoint can be framed as wall art or finished into a pillow. These wedding samplers will become a true heirloom.
Personalize your sampler. Each sampler includes customization of two text areas, at the top and bottom of the illustration. Our recommendations for what to put in each:
If you need more characters, we can create a smaller, custom font for an additional fee.
Make it totally unique. Swap the chapel for the place you said yes, add the flowers you carried, tuck in your dog, request a custom monogram, ask for a different color palette. We want your wedding sampler to be as special as your big day.

If you love the design, but want to make a few changes, please reach out with your thoughts and ideas. For customizations, an additional fee will be estimated based on the illustration time required. Each custom design includes two rounds of revisions.
Over the years, we’ve taught countless beginners to stitch every single one of our canvases. That said, some projects are easier than others. You can find info about the skills needed for each project on the product page, right under the details about Dimensions and Materials.
We offer both printed and painted canvases. Almost all of our customers choose printed canvases because they’re more affordable (half the cost) and much faster to make (2-3 weeks vs. 8-12 weeks).
As with all things, there are trade-offs — printed canvases are not as precise as stitch-painted canvases — there may be areas where you have to make a creative call on stitch colors or design details.
